Designed for Kjeldahl digestion on a micro scale, the extraction heaters accommodate up to six 18 to 50 mL round-bottom flasks. Heater includes two support arms that can be mounted on the sides to hold the optional fume collection tube; the tube lets you safely collect and exhaust fumes when not operating the heater under a fume hood.
Each heating mantle has its own independent heat controller, on/off switch, and amber neon indicator light, and can operate up to a maximum element temperature of 800°C. Heat controllers located in the lower part of the unit is safely separated from the upper heating elements by a stainless steel tray and well-ventilated air space. Extra safety features include an earth screen and double fuses on the supply line.
