The Hitachi High-Tech OE Series is a range of stationary spark optical emission spectrometers designed for high-demand metals analysis, quality control, and process monitoring. The range includes the OE720 and OE750, combining high-resolution CMOS detector technology with Hitachi’s Light Wing optical design to deliver broad spectral coverage, low detection limits, and reliable analysis of metals and alloys.
The OE Series is designed to analyze a broad range of alloying, trace, tramp, and treatment elements, making it suitable for applications throughout the metals-production process—from scrap inspection and incoming material verification to melt control and final product quality control.
The OE720 provides comprehensive metals analysis without additional gas-analysis capability, while the OE750 offers an extended optical range that enables analysis of gases such as hydrogen and oxygen in applicable metals.

OE720
Designed for high-performance metals analysis where gas analysis is not required. It covers a wide range of elements across metals and alloys and provides low detection limits for demanding quality-control applications.
OE750
The higher-capability model with an extended wavelength range that enables additional gas analysis. It is suited to applications including ultra-low carbon steel, nitrogen in steel, oxygen in copper, and oxygen, nitrogen, and hydrogen in titanium.
